Carol Lombard Clark currently lives in Palm Beach, Florida, and frequently goes back to the home where she raised her family in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. She finds it difficult to identify these homes as her only places of residence because over the past several years she has traveled to Europe, Mexico, Vietnam and many other places in the United States. Carol refers to these “homes” as learning experiences because of the many people she has met and cultures she has come to know. They helped her realize just how different people can be “in a good way,” she says.
Clark’s eldest son, Duncan McAllister, resides in Cape Elizabeth, Maine with his wife Erin Cooke McAllister. He is the general manager of VarioStat Inc. which is owned by his father, Dr. Douglas J. McAllister. Heath McAllister, Carol’s second son, is working towards a degree in Naturopathic Medicine. Daughter Amber Dugan graduated from Skidmore College with a degree in Biology and owns Dewitt Hill Grooming, a professional dog grooming company in Durham, Maine. She and husband Sean Dugan are proud parents of newborn baby boy Noah McAllister Dugan.
A family member that is very close to Carol personally and professionally is her nephew, Christopher M. Clark. He worked with her to make the song “A World Without Terror.” She first realized Chrisopher’s musical talents when his father, Carol’s brother, died in an accident when he was only 7 years old. Christopher stood in his bedroom after his father was cremated and sang a song by Michael Jackson that had the family in tears. At age 17, he used the money his father left to launch his music career. Christopher has been a real joy to Carol, and his love for music was why she wanted to work with him the single.
